BarTag is a private, voluntary social game for adults. Look out for yourself and respect the people around you.
Alcohol is optional
Water, coffee, soda, tea, and mocktails all belong. Choose what fits your moment, and respect what others choose.
Skip dangerous challenges
Do not create drinking contests, rapid-consumption challenges, or anything that rewards risky behavior. Stop when a situation feels unsafe.
Never use BarTag while driving
Never drink and drive, and do not read, post, take photos, choose a venue, or otherwise use BarTag while operating a vehicle.
Adults only
BarTag is only for people age 21 and older. Do not tag someone you know is under 21 or submit their information to the Service.
Respect photos and locations
Consider who and what your Proof photo or selected place reveals. Get permission before posting another person or a location they reasonably expect to remain private.
Treat people like people
No harassment, threats, hateful conduct, impersonation, stalking, invasive content, or repeated unwanted Tags. A private link can be forwarded or captured, so share it thoughtfully.
In an emergency
BarTag is not an emergency service. If someone may be in immediate danger, stop using the app and contact local emergency services.
